6-Inch Round Toe - First developed for farmers, Red Wing introduced the 6-inch round toe work boot in 1919. The combination of two traditional styles, round toe boots provide the comfort of an oxford with the durability of a work boot. The key difference in the new style was the round toe design, eliminating the seam by using one larger piece of leather versus sewing together two smaller leather pieces.
